I’m sure if you have ate too much before then you are familiar with the feeling of being tired and lazy as a result. When things like this happen it is your mood changing due to the direct feedback between your body and mind.

With that being said, in today’s article I will be giving you 4 steps on how to get out of a bad mood and feel good all of the time.

1. Eat Well

Eating well is perhaps one of the most important factors when it comes to getting out of a bad mood and feeling good. When you are consistently eating junk food, and foods low in nutrients, your body will respond by sending you triggers in the form of laziness, tiredness, and irritability.


On the contrary, when you feed your body healthy foods, you will begin to feel more energized, alive, and passionate about life day to day and you won‘t be in a bad mood as often.

2. Pay Attention to the Signs Your Body Gives You

This is something that I was really guilty of. When your body is trying to tell you something, it is imperative to listen. I used to not listen to my body. Whenever I would begin to feel tired and sleepy or just in an overall bad mood, I would typically ignore those feelings continue to work through them because I felt that my work was more important and I needed to get stuff done.

But what I didn’t realize is that by not going to sleep, I was actually slowing down my production in the long run. How? Because when you don’t sleep and try to work while you are tired, your level of productivity will plummet.


You may feel good because you are “up” and doing things, but in reality you will not be operating at an optimum level. You’ll be operating a lower level and thus producing sub par work that will limit your success in the long run. So the moral of the story is, listen to your body. If your tired, sleep. If your hungry, eat. If you need a break, take a break! This is a great way to get out of a bad mood.

3. Sleep Well

This was touched on a bit in step number two but I will touch upon it more here. Sleep is super crucial to being successful and being in a good mood. I promise you, if you are not getting enough sleep your business and personal life will suffer tremendously.


Interestingly enough many people will never tell you this, in fact most tell you that you have to endure long grueling hours of no sleep in order to be successful. This couldn’t be further from the truth.

The truth is that by actually getting more sleep and working less, your work and relationships will improve because the time spent on them will be of a higher quality. Your senses will be better, you will be in a better mood, and you’ll also be sharper and faster. All of these combined will lead to you ultimately having a lot more success in the long run. So with that being said, get sleep!

4. Exercise Regularly

Exercise is one of the best ways to amplify your mood. When you exercise it gets your blood flowing which really helps to elevate your mood immediately and put you in a good mood. Studies have shown that regular exercise can alleviate depression, ADHD, anxiety, and much much more!

Also, think about how good it would feel to know that your body is looking good. Imagine having six pack abs, a rock hard chest, and some solid legs. I’m sure you will feel a lot more confident walking into a room if your body looks like that as opposed to being fat and out of shape.


Exercise is one of those things that can very quickly improve your mood and help you to feel good instantly. Exercise on a regular basis and watch your mood improve and your success, skyrocket!

Sometimes in life we can feel overwhelmed by the obstacles we may face in life. When you are in the pursuit of a goal you will be bound to face a hurdle at one point or another. Instead of focusing on factors that are outside of your control, focus on the things that you can control. It is imperative to do this if you want to achieve your goals.

1. Stop Thinking About The Past and Future

If you are putting your focus on the the past or the future and having thoughts to yourself such as “if I did this then that would have happened,” then you are doing yourself a huge disservice.


It’s easy to get caught up in this thinking when we feel stuck or are frustrated that things do not seem to be panning out in our favor. However, this mode of thinking is simply daydreaming and is a pure waste of time.

Since you can’t control elements in the past or future, instead learn to focus on the the thing you can control. If you encounter something that is outside of your control, then put all of your time and effort into the things that you can control. When you effectively do this, you will find yourself making progress to your goals and overcoming barriers.

2. Be Present in The Moment

Too often it is easy to get caught up worrying about things that have not happened and getting caught up in overthinking.

Sometimes when we have big goals we can easily get sidetracked by focusing on the next big step instead of the first one. When you have a plan to accomplish a goal, it’s imperative to focus on each individual step at a time. If your focus on the second step only, you may jeopardize your first step because you were overlooking it.


Also, when you are not present in the moment you may miss out on a new opportunity that manifests itself into your life. So remember to always be Present in the moment and focus on one step at a time — take baby steps.

3. Learn To Recognize Opportunities

Sometimes if you are allowing negative thoughts to dwell in your mind you will be prone to overlooking new opportunities that are presenting themselves right before you.

Many times during the pursuit of your goal you will face challenges, and when you do it is easy to get sidetracked by how difficult the challenge is or feel sorry for yourself for even having encountering it in the first place. What many people chose to do is give up.

But the truth is, in most cases the obstacle placed before you is a blessing in disguise. It can be an opportunity for you to do something differently or an opportunity to become better or stronger. However, if your already in a negative mind state then you will most likely not be able to see things from this perspective.


Always keep your eyes open for new opportunities, you NEVER know when one will come or what form it will present itself in.

4. Be Relentless

When you decide to pursue something, remind yourself before hand that rejection is imminent and that you will hear the word “no” hundreds if not thousands of times before hearing a “yes.”

Create daily reminders for yourself that when you fall short you will analyze why and work smarter and harder so that it won’t happen again. Remember that failure and rejection only makes you stronger.

In today’s article, I will discuss limiting beliefs. I will explain what a limiting belief is and give 5 steps to overcome them.

If you could overcome your limiting beliefs you would be able to do anything that you want to. Most people don’t accomplish their goals because they have some sort of limiting belief about themselves. They always have an excuse as to why something can’t get done — ultimately these excuses turn into one drawn out story that we tell ourselves that end up becoming our limiting beliefs.

The good news is that limiting beliefs CAN be overcome. There is a way to eliminate your limiting beliefs and once you can do that the sky is the limit!

What are limiting beliefs?

Limiting beliefs are the thoughts and stories that we tell ourselves on a daily basis about our current circumstances in life, many times we may not even realize that we have these beliefs because they are in our subconscious. Limiting beliefs are the reasons why we cannot do something or some sort of a generalization about people or world-views as a whole. Ultimately limiting beliefs have to do with protecting our perceived self identity and limit us from reaching our full potential.


Here are the 5 steps to overcoming a limiting belief.

1. Identify Your Limiting Belief

The first step is to discover what your limiting beliefs are. The beliefs usually can be identified by the term I am.

Here is an example:

Limiting Belief: “I am never capable of being athletic.”

This is an example of a limiting belief because by saying that to yourself over and over again, you have no chance at ever becoming athletic. However, if you instead say to yourself “I can become as athletic as I want by going to the gym and putting in effort consistently,” this puts a completely different perspective on things and gives you a realistic chance at becoming athletic.

Exercise #1: take a moment and identify a limiting belief in your life.

2. Chose A New Belief That You Would Like To Have

Instead of the old and negative limiting belief you used to tell yourself. Now it’s time to reframe it into a new and positive belief that will empower you instead of limiting you.


Here’s an example:

Old limiting belief: “I’ll never be successful in life.”

New Empowering Belief: “I am in control of the things I do and I can be as successful as I want in life.”

Exercise #2: Chose a new belief to replace your old limiting belief.

3. Eliminate the Emotional Attachment to Your Limiting Belief

Now that you know what your limiting belief is just take some time to think about and identify the emotional experience that gave you that belief. Oftentimes, our limiting beliefs exist because we experienced something bad in the past and they protect us from having to experience these negative feelings again.


Here is an example:

Limiting Belief: “I’ll never have a girlfriend because girls don’t like me.”

Emotional Attachment: “I got rejected by a girl in the past and it hurt me.”

Payoff: Not having to talk to girls and never having to feel painful rejection ever again.”

In the above example the limiting belief was created in the believer’s life when they experienced rejection from a girl in the past. By experiencing rejection from that ONE girl, the believer decided to associate that pain with all girls in the future. By not talking to any girls and telling themselves that no girls will ever like them, the limiting belief serves as a protection to the believer.

Many times, if you look hard enough, your limiting beliefs were created by a negative experience you had in your life. There is most likely some benefit and identity protection that you are receiving from the belief.

Exercise #3: Identify your emotional connection to the limiting belief and decide that it is not worth holding on to anymore.

4. Re-Frame Your Emotional Attachment

Now that you have identified the emotional attachment to your limiting beliefs and have decided to let it go, it is to re-frame it.

Here is an example:

Emotional Attachment: “I got rejected by a girl in the past and it hurt me.”

Re-Framed Version: “I tried to talk to a girl in the past but we weren’t a good fit for each other and she wasn’t my type. Oh well, there are plenty of other fish in the sea!

See the difference? By doing this you completely change your perspective and shatter every emotional attachment to any limiting belief you have.

Exercise #4: Re-Frame the emotional attachment that you have to your limiting belief in a way that is positive and beneficial to you.

5. Justify Your New Belief

Now that you have changed your limiting belief into an empowering belief it is time to find reasons to validate your new belief.


For example:

New Empowering Belief: “I am in control of the things I do and I can be as successful as I want to be in life.”

Justification: When I chose to study for my exams I got good grades and when I chose to do push-ups everyday I got into great shape and I looked amazing. If I just apply the same effort to other areas in my life like I already have, I can do anything!

Huge difference here. When we have limiting beliefs our minds become accustomed to noticing the negative things in order to confirm the belief instead of noticing the positive things that will disprove it. But you can use this to your advantage by instead focusing your mind on the good things that will prove why your justification is true.

Exercise #5: Find as much evidence as you can to support your new belief.


Limiting beliefs are simply a way to preserve our self identities. Anybody can overcome limiting beliefs by learning to dissociate the belief from their identity, disproving it, and replacing it with an empowering belief instead. 1. Commit to Action

The first step that you must take in order to be unstoppable and successful is to commit to taking action. When you truly make a commitment to something, your mind shift completely changes and you instantly move from thought into action. You start to move with a sense of purpose.


When you are truly committed to something you will become unstoppable. When you are committed to something and you face an obstacle you will be able to overcome that obstacle because you are truly committed. Committed people don’t make excuses and refuse to quit.

Become truly committed to your dreams and you will be unstoppable.

2. Have Courage

When you are in the relentless pursuit of your goals you may come across several people who don’t believe in you and that tell you that you are crazy for wanting to pursue these goals. When people see someone doing something that is outside of the norm or doing something that they don’t believe is possible because they gave up, they will try to encourage you to stop. People may gossip about you, reject you, and even make fun of you. These are just some of the challenges you may face.

When Martin Luther King wanted to end segregation, he had many people that were opposed to his views and wanted to kill him. He was thrown in jail and eventually assassinated but through it all he continued to persevere. This is what courage is all about. It’s about continuing to move forward against all odds.

You must have courage in order to be unstoppable.

3. Believe In Yourself

It will be very hard to be unstoppable if you don’t believe in yourself. In fact, it will be impossible. If you look at any of the most successful and innovative people in history they all had a tremendous amount of confidence in themselves.


If you want other to people to take you seriously and believe in your vision, how are they going to do that if you don’t even believe in yourself or your vision first?

You have to faith that your vision will come to fruition. Sometimes when you are first starting out a business or career, it is hard to see the end of the tunnel. Doing repetitive mundane work may feel pointless especially if you aren’t getting paid much yet or reaping any rewards.

But you have to keep pushing regardless. This is where faith comes in. You must have the faith that it will happen. Faith is the Belief in something that you Can’t See.

Truly believe in yourself and your vision and you will become unstoppable.

4. Be Purposeful

When you are dedicated to a passion of yours and something you truly love, you will feel pulled towards doing that thing everyday. You will wake up in the morning with a sense of purpose. You won’t have to watch motivational videos and listen to motivational music because you won’t need it. Your passion will ignite the drive within you to get the job done everyday.


Find purpose in your life and then relentlessly pursue your passion and that is the recipe for greatness.

You will be unstoppable.
